Do I need a referral?
Private patients do not need a GP referral to visit a podiatrist.
The following patients however will need a referral:
- Veterans’ Affairs
- Medicare EPC
If unsure please speak to one of our receptionists.
WorkSafe and TAC patients please speak to one of our receptionists for requirements.
Payment
Payment is requested at the time of consultation. Payment can be made via cash, cheque, EFTPOS or Credit Card.
We have HICAPS on site which allows for instant processing of any private health insurance claim.
Cancellations
We require 24 hours notice for all cancellations.
Cancellations without notice or failure to attend appointments may result in a fee.
Be seen on time
We recognise that your time is valuable so we pride ourselves on always seeing the patient on time. Of course this only works if our patients arrive on time, so we appreciate if you could arrive 5 minutes early before your appointment.
Kid friendly
Not only do we treat kids but we love for them to visit the practice. Let them entertain themselves with toys in our Kids Corner or watch a DVD, while you receive treatment.
Sterilisation
We use only high quality stainless steel instruments for all our procedures. All our instruments are cleaned and sterilised in a Melag 23 VS autoclave, meeting the highest Australian Infection Control Standards. Regular biological testing is performed to ensure quality and effectiveness.
